A Few Common Questions You Might Ask About Becoming a Product Reviewer

Those who are interested in getting in to product reviewing probably have some of the same questions I had when I began my journey in late May into the world of product reviewing.

* How do I become a product reviewer?
* Is it hard to review the products?
*Where do I find products and will I be chosen to review any?
*Is this something that I can afford to do?

First, it is not too difficult to become a product reviewer. You can search online to find groups and companies that have products to review. Look through Facebook there are a ton of review groups you can join by simply filling out a form and sending a friend request to all the admins in the groups. Just as a little extra gift to you for visiting my blog today I will point you in the direction of some of the groups I have grown to love since late May.

Facebook Groups I love:
*Lady Luck Reviewers
*Fabulous Reviewers

Reviewing products is not hard at all. All you have to do is try the product and then write about your experience. Was it good? Bad? Do you have suggestions to make the product better? Tell what you liked or disliked and why. It is really that simple. Just be honest!

You find products to review by joining groups and sites such as these listed above. Once you are comfortable reviewing you can also pitch to sellers yourself. I have not reached that level of comfort in my reviewing journey just yet. I simply look at the products my groups and sites offer and apply to the ones that I would like to try. You will not get to review every product you apply for. Do not be discouraged. This happens to every reviewer, especially when you first begin. Make sure to apply only to products you plan to buy if you are chosen to review and be careful not to apply to more than you can afford. If you are chosen to review a product the seller and group or site expects you to order it. Be mindful of time limits on codes, some are only a few hours while others are a few days. Be sure to review the products you buy from Amazon. Review all the products you purchase whether you are doing it for a product review or not. This helps with getting chosen to review more products. ALWAYS leave a disclaimer in your reviews if you received a code to purchase them at a discount or for free.

Affordability of reviewing products is all up to you. Of course if you are serious about being a product reviewer you are going to need to invest the $99 to become a Prime member. Shipping costs are VERY expensive without Prime because most products you review need to be shipped with 2 day shipping which = Free with Prime Expensive without Prime. You can review free products or products that you will pay a percentage of the items listed price. You choose where you get products, how many you apply for, and how much your willing to spend.

Here is a break down of my review spending since May of this year to today.

Here it is, after joining Prime the listed price of the items I ordered was $1567.20 I actually spent $131.34. I purchased 84 items, providing I did not miss any in my count.
My overall total from my start date to today:
$1687.46 total listed price &
$175.52 that I actually spent.
Total items I bought 90!

Yes I love being a reviewer of awesome products! So what are some of the other totals of reviewers out there? I am interested to know please share in the comments! How long have you reviewed? All year or like me just a part of the year? What have you spent and how many products have you gotten to review?

Some of my favorite products from this year are pictured below.

Would You Like Bright Eyes in the Mornings?

Ladies regardless of age we all suffer from dark circles and puffiness around our eyes at some point. The as we age throw in the wrinkles to go right along with the bags and big purple circles. We look like Halloween has come early and we don't even need the face paint to touch up our costume. Well if it is not Halloween and you would like to get rid of those horrid eyes I know a product that can help!

Valentia True Glow Eye Cream is just what you need! This is a wonderful product that I can honestly say I enjoy using. The cream comes in a dark bottle with a pump top. The first time you use the product you may think the cream is never coming out but I promise if you keep pumping the lid it will come out. The cream is yellowish in color with a nice subtle smell. It is not a perfume smell just a hint of scent. The cream is smooth and silky.

I apply the cream below my eyes and on top of my eyelids as well. Immediately as I rub I feel a warm tingly feeling. It is not painful or uncomfortable, just enough that you notice it. My eyes immediately feel refreshed and look brighter.  My eyes feel soft and silky smooth. The bags and circles begin to vanish. The longer you use the cream the less and less problems you will see each morning when you look in the mirror. This cream is very quick and easy to use! It takes less than 10 minutes to be completely done and I look tons better for those few quick minutes.

I have used other Valentia products and though they too were amazing this eye cream has totally amazed me. I knew that it would work because this is an exceptional company but I had no idea it would work miracles in the very first use. I now use this product every morning and love the results I am seeing.

I give this product a 5 out of 5 stars. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who suffers from dark circles, puffiness, wrinkles, or just tired looking eyes. I would recommend it because I love the results that I am seeing. Other eye creams may work but most require time to really show results, Valentia True Glow Eye Cream begins to work the very first time it is used. That is what all us ladies need before we head into another stressful day at work!

Like to try Valentia True Glow Eye Cream for yourself please see the Amazon listing here.

Are You A Little Miss Basic?

This is another of the Little Miss & Mr. Me Me Me parody series by Dan Zevin. I really do like this series. These books are humorous. It is another short read with just about 30 pages with probably only about half of those having actual words.

This one was funny but I do have to admit that I did not think it was as quite as funny as the first one I read Little Miss Overshare. Little Miss Basic is just that "basic". She loves her Uggs, her Pumpkin Spice Lattes, and her besties. In this book her boyfriend dumps her and she confides in her bestie to help pull her through much like you or I would probably do if we were dumped by our boo.

This book might appear child friendly on the cover but do not be deceived. This is NOT a bed time read for the children. In fact it is not a read at ALL for children. The humor is a bit crude for little eyes and ears.

Overall it was a pretty good little book. It did make me laugh a bit. I really had very little in common with Little Miss Basic despite the fact that I would consider myself pretty basic. I am still interested in the last few books in this series. It is a pretty funny little series.

I received this book from Blogging for Books in exchange for an honest unbiased review. This review has not been influenced by receiving the book for free, the company, or author in any way. These opinions are 100% my own after reading this book.
